Spirit Tail
You are a fox, born half mortal and half spirit. As you grew up, the barrier between the material and spirit plain grew weaker, culminating in the eventual collision of the two worlds. Large domes have formed in the locations where the two worlds have collided, and only you can undo them. A third-person platform where you collect powerups and unlock spiritual abilities to break the tether points, bringing balance back to the worlds.
The project was made during the 2022 Global Game Jam at the SCAD jam site and won best art in show. On a team of 14, I worked as the lead level designer, communicating with the lead artists and programmer to help create the aesthetics and mechanics of the game. I was also in charge of writing the final pass of the story and dialogue for NPCs.
